MedExLingua (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the MedExLingua mobile application and website (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

Payment data	Payment method choice, bank transfer / library receipt / WhatsApp payment proofs you upload; we do not store full card numbers on our servers if a third-party processor is used
Device & tech	Device model, OS version, app version, IP address, crash logs
Notifications	Push notification token (FCM) to send course and account alerts
Support	Messages, call records metadata, and files you send to support

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to delete it.

How We Use Data

We use personal data to:

Create and manage your account
Deliver courses, live sessions, exams, and library features
Process enrollments and verify payments
Send transactional and educational notifications
Provide customer support
Improve security, prevent fraud, and enforce single-session / account policies
Comply with legal obligations

Payment / verification channels you choose (bank, library, WhatsApp) as needed to confirm payment

Data Retention

We keep account and learning records while your account is active. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, access controls, hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

Access and update your profile data in the app
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account (in-app delete account / contact support)
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
